  • It is the nineth year that I’m producing an international young artist program Opera Accelerator. Here my goal is to create an environment for young opera artists to bridge the gap between the academy and professional theater. Fully staged opera pieces are shown to remote and diverse audiences in Lithuania after an intense residency program.

  • In year 2021 / 2022 I held the chair of opera studio director at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater, Klaipėda faculty.

  • I am currently working as an assistant director at Klaipėda State Music Theater.

  • My international assisting credits include Christof Loy production of “Tannhäuser” at Dutch National Opera, Amsterdam, W.A. Mozart “Don Giovanni” at Opera Holland Park, London, G. Puccini “La Bohème” at Knighton opera, Leicester.

  • My internships include assisting at Dutch National Opera, Zurich Opera house and Komische Oper, Berlin. I’ve worked with directors such as J.P. Gloger, A. Homoki, B. Kosky.

  • In 2017 I had a pleasant invitation to come to Vilnius and stage the first German opera “Pastorello Musicale”.

  • My directing debut was back in 2011 at Klaipeda State Music Theater, where I directed a fully staged H. Purcell’s opera “Dido & Aeneas”.

  • I have studied Philosophy, Stage directing and Classical singing both in Vilnius and Klaipėda.

  • Additionally attended a short course on opera directing in London, where such prominent directors as Annabel Arden, John Copley, Martin Duncan, Elijah Moshinsky, Orpha Phelan were sharing their experience.
